PORTABLE COLD CONTAINERS (ALTERNATIVE TO DEDICATED REFRIGERATED TRUCKS)

The existing mainstream solution of choice for the transport of limited volumes of perishable products is the permanent conversion of small trucks to refrigerated vans with the use of insulated linings and engine-driven refrigeration units. This is a costly and inefficient method, especially if you need temperature control for only a portion of your delivery cargo.

The use of 12V (battery-operated) portable cold containers on board standard commercial trucks is a more economical and flexible solution. These portable cold containers can be loaded quickly into a standard truck, giving the driver the ability to transport multiple types of products with different temperature requirements in one delivery route.

These containers are produced with rotational molding technology for durability and ease-of-cleaning. This is very important as hygiene maintenance is top priority for the perishable food and pharmaceutical markets.

The refrigeration systems of the containers are designed to operate from the 12V batteries that are already on-board vehicles. The compressors have a low power consumption, are resistant to vibrations, and can work at angles up to 30°.

Whether an existing delivery route uses a commercial van, a medium-sized pick-up, or a standard closed van truck… there is now the ability to maintain cold chain integrity throughout the delivery process for the perishable food and pharmaceutical cargo.
